The security hotline in Judea and Samaria received multiple calls from witnesses of a possible kidnapping, shortly before midnight. The callers reported seeing a woman briefly open the passenger seat of a Palestinian car and scream “save me” in Hebrew.

The IDF is carrying out intensive searches and has put blockades on many junctions in the area.

It is not yet known if this is indeed a kidnapping, but the IDF is acting with the utmost caution.

After extensive searches, including of the car identified by witnesses, the IDF now believes that the reports of a kidnapping were a false alarm.
