It’s a good morning to thank G-d.
At 4:45 a.m., Israel’s airforce jets began a preemptive airstrike, and within 15 minutes, struck 1,000 Hezbollah launchers in Southern Lebanon. Hezbollah had been preparing to launch the rockets at 5:00 a.m. at hundreds of sensitive and heavily populated areas in Central Israel. The attack could have been devastating.
Hezbollah then began launching a reduced attack from their original plan, and launched around 210 rockets and 20 drones at the border communities, Golan, and Upper Galilee. There are reports of one minor injury and property damage.
Hezbollah says the attack is a response to Israel’s earlier assassination of Fuad Shukr, but hasn’t said anything about Israel’s preemptive attack, which significantly reduced their impact. They indicate that this was the “first phase” of the attack.
Homefront Command has limited activities and instructed alertness for all cities from Tel Aviv northward, and is prepared for the possibility of more heavy attacks.

According to Channel 12 News, Hezbollah had planned on launching as many as 6,000 rockets, drones, and guided missiles against Israel this morning, with targets including heavily populated areas, and the Mossad and IDF 8200 intelligence headquarters.
The IAF has continued attacking launch sites in Southern Lebanon, including hidden launchers in tunnel shafts. Hezbollah hasn’t managed to fire a thing since they launched 220 rockets and drones over four hours ago.
Israel’s airstrikes however still remain preventative, and threaten Hezbollah that any further attack will lead to all-out war.
