Dear Readers,
I haven’t had time to write their stories yet, but I promise I will soon.
Our phones are buzzing nonstop—mine, my husband’s, and Alice’s. We’re having trouble keeping up. IDF soldiers in the north have left their families to protect Israel, and now we need to step up and do what we can to help them.
The list of needs is endless, but we’re working with experts and senior commanders to prioritize the most impactful gear. On the top of the list are drones and other surveillance equipment which help soldiers find hidden terrorists and traps. Our soldiers are standing in the most dangerous areas, anticipating heavy rainfall of rockets—we also need to ensure that they have the best protective helmets and vests to weather the incoming storm.
We’re working with local volunteers and Chabad emissaries in the north to safely deliver the gear to the units in need. All gear is IDF approved. I’ll share the updates and progress here.
The task feels enormous, but every drop in the bucket makes a huge impact; every donation of any size saves hero lives.
Let’s do this together. Let’s ensure that our soldiers return home to their families in safety.
Thank you,
Bruria Efune,
with Alice & the Chamal Gederot volunteers
